Ireland is quite rightly proud of all of its redheaded citizens and now it’s the turn of the Northern Ireland to host their very first Ginger Pride Festival in Belfast this coming Saturday 11th February. It all takes place at Aether & Echo a large Victorian bar in the city center, so drinking WILL be involved. We are not sure what exactly what is going down but the organizers describe it ‘as a week long celebration of all things ginger concluding with a huge party.’
This is not an LGBT event, BUT as we know how hot redheaded men are, there is bound to be quite a large gay contingent. Same Sex marriage may still be illegal in Northern Ireland (shame on their politicians) but it wouldn’t hurt to have a potential fiance all lined up ready for when things change, and gingers do make perfect boyfriends too.
