Singer/actor/filmmaker Jack Tracy‘s Necessary Outlet Productions is getting together with Bear World Magazine‘s Bryce Quartz to produce BAIT a new queer bear-centric indie music showcase at Rockbar NYC. Its kick-off will be held on Thursday, March 31 at 8 PM EST and will return on the last Thursday of every month.
The first set of headliners will feature performances by Bear and Bear-bait artists 3DDI3 WAYN3, Bryce Quartz, ALONE, and Jack Tracy with DJ Chauncey Dandridge on the beats and gogos Danny J and Bandit keeping the crowd growling between sets.
Jack Tracy told QUEERGURU “I am thrilled to launch my latest queer music showcase specifically for the Bears, who have always been one of the most welcoming and joyful families within our larger queer community. “I’m even more thrilled to have the support of our sponsor Bear-Tastic and our media sponsor Bear World Magazine, who both share Bryce and my vision for creating a vibrant circuit for queer pop musicians in New York.” To complement the show, BAIT will also hold a raffle to give audience members a chance to take home some of the gogo’s attire provided by sponsor Bear-Tastic.
