So Queerguru’s very own ‘Fount Of All Knowledge” volunteered that the name Jonathan (or Yehonatan) in Hebrew means God has given. When we think of two Jonathans in the news this week, that kind of makes sense.
Jonathan No 1, i.e. Brit Actor Jonathan Bailey, who won 2019 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his portrayal of Jamie in the 2018 West End revival of Company. He is also known for the ITV drama Broadchurch
BUT it was his stunning performance playing the role of the Viscount Anthony Bridgerton in the Emmy nominated Netflix period drama Brdgerton that cemented his position as an international heartthrob.
The good news then is that he and the program are back for Season 2, and as you will have to wait until 2022 to see it then here’s a preview to whet your buds.
Plus he will be back in London’s Ambassador Theatre starring in Mike Bartlett’s Olivier award-winning play COCK makes its highly-anticipated West End debut. With co-star Taron Eagerton this razor-sharp play redefines the battle of the sexes as we know it., will open in March 2022.
We do know that this Jonathan is gay BUT we do not know if he is single or……. on the other hand Jonathan No 2 , Means Girls Jonathan Bennett is both gay and engaged to TV Host James Vaughan seen in this photo below
Jonathan Bennett is back in the news as Hallmark has announced that they are making a sequel to their first every gay holiday movie The Christmas House
The original film, starring Jonathan Bennett and Brad Harder, sees two brothers returning home for the holidays. While there, both brothers dealt with drama happening in their relationship. Bennett’s character Brandon anxiously awaited, alongside his husband Jake (played by Harder) for confirmation on whether they can adopt their first child. Meanwhile, Brandon’s brother Mike (played by Robert Buckley) tried to convince his mother to sell the family home while reconnecting with a high school sweetheart.
P.S. if you love Christmas Movies then you should know that Hallmark has another new 39 ones to play this season, but we are guessing they will all be straight …(ish)
