If you loved either the Broadway version or the film of the multi-award-winning DREAMGIRLS, you are in for a treat this fall. A Chris Rock-directed film  MISTY GREEN is about to hit our screens, featuring an Oscar-winning performance from a relatively unknown British actress, Rosalind Eleazar, that we think will blow your minds.

It’s a behind -the-scenes Hollywood musical movie where our heroine, Misty, has to overcome her past and her family for a second shot in the spotlight.  Hard not to compare the role that gave the two Jennifers their big break, but Rosalind’s spin on the struggling actress is quite unique, and one you are unable to forget.

The film from A24 also stars Adam Driver, Daniel Kaluuya, Anna Kendrick, Topher Grace, and Chris Rock and will be in movie theatres this October.  Make that a big box of tissues
