And Now for Something Totally Different

Perfect timing in the middle of Black History Month comes SHIPBUILDING a remarkably unique performance festival in London. Named after Elvis Costello’s symbolic anti-war song and reflecting upon the climate of C19, Brexit and Black Lives Matter, each show has been created from true stories, whether autobiographical or observe.

One of the highlights is queer artist Livia Kojo Alour A.K.A MisSa with her debut full-length show Black Sheep. Livia is a poet, musician, in-demand public speaker, and theatre-maker and is Regularly gracing international stages as a renowned sword swallower, circus artist, and dazzling burlesque artist,. This Show has been long in the making, serving as a candid autobiographical work and a euphoric reclamation of Livia’s identity and ongoing fortitude.
