If you became obsessed with Kit Williamson’ s award winning web series EASTSIDERS that just had its fourth and season (like Queerguru did), then you’ll so want to see the Behind The Scenes doc that Williamson has just released
If follows how he developed the whole series from the inspired initial idea he had some six years ago and its remarkable journey from YouTube to eventually being picked up by Netflix. Set in Silver Lake, Los Angeles this dark comedy charters the waters on how gay and straight romantic relationships can (or cannot) survive in a fast paced culture-driven society day. It’s funny, exhilarating. heart-breaking drama and love, and so utterly compelling.
Williamson created, wrote , directed , executive produced and starred in Eastsiders along with his annoyingly-too-good-looking husband John Halbach. Credit where it is due, Williamson may have insisted on filling the cast with exceptionally beautiful people BUT they were also immensely talented too. The series deservedly received numerous accolades, including two Indie Series Awards and several Daytime Emmy Award nominations.
