Here’s the first trailer of the highly anticipated biopic on the late great Rudolf Nureyev called The White Crow. Directed by Ralph Fiennes from a script by David Hare, it stars emerging dancer Oleg Ivenko as Nureyev, and ballet’s bad boy Sergei Polunin who was recently sacked by the Paris Opera for his homophobic remarks.
Nureyev was unquestionable the greatest male ballet star of his generation until his untimely death of AIDS in 1993.
The movie will be released by Studio Canal in the UK in March, and then by Sony Pictures in the US in the Fall
