What’s going ‘down under’ from Down Under in Ding Dong I’m Gay

One of the most refreshing new  LGBTQ web series we have come across for some time has just popped on our radar.  It hails from Sydney, Australia and is the story of Cameron (Tim Spencer )  who moved to the city ten years ago and who was certain he would be flooded with invitations to parties in tasteful apartments and weekends away with jaw-lined boyfriends who could fly planes and knew CPR.

It so didn’t happen and now with his hopes and dreams have flatlined, he suspects his pregnant neighbor is stealing his Wi-Fi and his Chinese student flatmate (Alex Lee) may or may not be a secret agent.  Life, however, is about to get a lot more interesting when Toby (Remy Brand ) his cute as a button but hopelessly naive cousin from Yass arrives with the news that he too is gay. Now Cameron takes it upon himself to become his gay guru and right the wrongs that were visited upon him by contemporary gay life.

This laugh-out-loud series has a very realistic scenario we can all relate and with its gentle sense of humor will become a sure-fire hit and a real crowd pleaser

Ding Dong I’m Gay is directed by Sarah Bishop (Skit Box, Wham Bam Thank you ‘Mam) and written by Tim Spencer (Oasis) and Zoe Norton Lodge (The Checkout).   Here are the first three episodes and be sure to subscribe to their YouTube channel so you don’t miss out on future ones.
