This low-budget romantic comedy is about three college friends who spend a summer living together in West Hollywood. Two of them are openly gay, while the third, whilst the third who is obviously a big old queen, claims to be a bi-sexual. They all throw a penny into a fountain and make a wish for what they really want in life. They need far more help than this though as none of them displays the remotest inkling of any talent for anything at all. Except from being annoying. Big time.
With the combination of an embarrassing lame script and excruciating hammy acting, this is unquestionably the worst film I have had to struggle through this year. Maybe a few years come to think about it. It takes a great deal for me not to find at least one redeeming feature of any movie, and trust there is a single one in this very very long 90 mins.
Two things surprise me though. What on earth persuaded Oscar-nominated actress Sally Kirkland to take part, and who in their right mind ever gave the go-ahead to make this appalling movie in the first place?
If there really was such a thing as a wishmaker, he would never ever have made me sit through this. But I saw it, so you will not have too.
