The BalletBoyz are Back in the US

A year shy of their 20th Anniversary London’s highly acclaimed all-male troupe the BALLET BOYZ are about to kick off a new US Tour.  From 31st January they will be working their way through Florida starting in Gainsville and play several cities before ending up in Key West on Monday 12th February.

They will be performing two works starting with Serpent by Liam Scarlett (Royal Ballet Artist in Residence) which is set to the haunting music of Max Richter’s Memoryhouse. The second piece, Fallen, is choreographed by Russell Maliphant and set to a powerful score by French film composer Armand Amar.  Fallen won the award for Best Modern Choreography at the 2013 National Dance Awards and both pieces feature lighting from Sadler’s Wells Associate Artist Michael Hulls.

Expect the unexpected from the Company that always gets unanimous rave reviews at every performance and even picked up awards for Young Men, a feature-length dance film without dialogue,  which was shot on location in Northern France (see clip below).  The two constants about BalletBoyz is that they never ever fail to delight and that they always sell-out, so maybe get a move on if you want to be sure of getting your hands on tickets.
