Provincetown’s own Renaissance Man John Waters sat down to talk to queerguru at #PIFF2017 to share how busy he is ……as usual. The Pope of Trash who has called P Town his summer home for decades has always been a major force in the Film Festival too, and we literally caught him for a chat when he was dashing from event to event.

Married husbands, the delightful filmmakers P. David Ebersole & Todd Hughes stopped by the Sage Lounge to dish with queerguru about their new deliciously camp and surreal documentary Mansfield 66/57 on the blonde bombshell Jayne Mansfield which is currently showing at #PIFF2017.

queerguru was on the Red Carpet at the Opening Party of #PIFF17 at the Crown & Anchor’s Paramount Bar and tout P.Town was there. We talked to the stars, filmmakers, celebrities and local movers & shakers to find out what was hot, and more importantly what they were wearing.

The Party was hosted by Rick Murray of the Crown and Anchor : Executive Chef Michele Ragussis.

Actress (and co-writer and Producer) Fawzia Mirza plays an uptight Pakistani Muslim lesbian lawyer who  lives with her very conservative mother in Chicago.  Her life however is about to go through  a major upheaval when she falls in love with a fiery Mexican woman ……. and female wrestling too.   Signature Move currently playing the Film Festival circuit is one of the most talked about lesbian movies of year getting a great deal of love from both critics and audiences alike.

On the eve on Signature Move’s screening at Provincetown International Film Festival #PIFF2017 Fawzia talked to queerguru for PTV’s Channel 99.
