Pride Film Fest is not just another streaming service that features the latest queer mainstream movies. Instead, it curates a program of excellent international LGBTQ+ films that have been recognized in festivals worldwide and have yet to be streaming on demand.
It’s goal is to get exciting new films online in front of audiences quickly, and we think it is so worth supporting. For example, on May 17th -28th they are playing an excellent queer Polish love story SLON (aka Elephant)
Bartek is a young man who runs a small horse farm and looks after his possessive mother. Their relationship is not easy but it becomes even more difficult when he falls in love with the musician Dawid who has come back home for his father’s funeral and he starts to dream of leaving home. Filmmaker Kamil Krawczycki gives the story such convincing authenticity plus it is also a visually stunning shot in the Pieniny Mountains, Malopolskie, Poland. It’s very easy to fall in love with this film, especially with the sizzling chemistry of the two lead actors Jan Hrynkiewicz and Pawel Tomaszewski
Pride Film Fest's membership is $10 per month, and members see all shorts and mid-length contest films for free and get discounted tickets for features. https://openspacearts.com/
