If you are a regular Queerguru reader (and why aren’t you?) you will know that we are major fans of The Iris Prize Festival. Not just because the winner receives the largest prize for a gay and lesbian film in the world—a package valued at £30,000—allowing them to make their next film. It’s the sheer quality of the entries like Never, Never, Never. that blows our minds away.
Just watch the trailer of less than 2 minutes by Iris Prize 2022 winner John Sheedy, as it captures such a serene moment with two closeted boys that will stay with you all day.
Never, Never Never will have its world premiere Opening Night of the 2025 Iris Prize LGBTQ+ Film Festival 📅 Monday 13 October 2025 |
