How could the OSCARS omit CAROL CHANNING?

Shame on the American Academy last night for omitting one of the industry’s brightest stars from their very poignant In Memoriam section in the Oscars Ceremony.  The late and totally fabulous larger-than-life CAROL CHANNING who died last year had actually received a Nomination for Best Support Actress in 1967 for her performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie.  She had earned her right to to be celebrated and honored and even the folks at the Academy fail to remember, we will never forget.
