Now that Netflix has discovered queer teen love, there is no stopping it. Coming next is HEARTSTOPPER a story of an unexpected romance that has been adapted from the very successful graphic novel series by Alice Oseman.
It details the friendship between two boys – Charlie and Nick – at secondary school, which blossoms into an unexpected romance. Charlie is agonizing about his “straight-boy crush” on rugby player Nick, but things may blossom after the two share a poignant “hi” in the pouring rain.
You may need to grab a kleenex watching this first clip of this very cute British drama which is bound to make stars of actors Kit Connor and Joe Locke when the 8 part series comes to Netflix on Friday 22 April.
