The latest big queer news from Down Under is not from Australia for a change but it’s smaller near neighbor New Zealand. They have just made an Independent LGBT web series FLUNK: The Exchange which has gone viral literally overnight ……clocking up over 1 million views in its very first month.
After getting her heart broken back home 18 year old Annie (Mirene Castelltort) leaves Mexico for an International Student Exchange Program. Arriving in Auckland New Zealand, Anne stays with Sabrina (Lucy Wyma) an intimidating wild child, who takes her under her wing and soon the paid get into trouble. But when Annie finds herself falling for Sabrina’s girlfriend, Esther (Celine Dam) she must decide to put the past behind her and risk everything to find live again before it’s too late. It has all the hallmarks and complications of first love.
