Nine years ago Mackenzie Miller left BIG-CITY living to move to Provincetown on the tip of Cape Cod an idyllic gay mecca that is overflowing in the summer and then dwindles down to just a few thousand in winter when the weather can be unforgiving. However, this rather magical town has a long history of encouraging all forms of artists to follow their dreams and that is exactly what Mackenzie has done so exceedingly well as they now revel in being able to perform for a living.
The larger-than-life comedian/singer Mama Tits (a mere 7’4″ tall when she is dressed) finally makes her #PTown debut with her aptly named show BIG & LOUD at the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret for the rest of the summer season. She took time out to talk with QUEERGURU about her passion for bluesy jazz (which so suits her remarkable voice), her new life in Mexico, and as an ex Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Inc., her passion for activism too….. and so much more
Filmed at The Post Office Cabaret by Dan Desjardins
Marti Gould Cummings the star and executive producer of Fusion TV ‘s hit program “SHADE : QUEENS OF NYC” , and possibly the first Drag Queen that may end up as US President, throws some delicious shade in this interview filmed for www.queergurutv.com
Every new Drag performer in town always brings something new to the table , and in Milk’s case it is sexual energy as he taunts his audience dressing and undressing in front of their very eyes. His ‘tiny’ sparkly thong is really something to behold
He’s performing at Velvet until the end of August,
One of the many things that the queer mecca of PTown can truly boast about is a wonderful coterie of truly talented local Drag Queens. True Mz Ru occasionally sends in one of two of her overdressed televisual queens, but there can be nothing better than being entertained by someone who is a real part of our own community. Ms ANITA COCKTAIL is one such performer …. and probably one of the most popular and successful ones too. Hosting and starring in two Drag Brunches and three Variety Hours each week she also finds time to act as the Mother Hen to all the other acts at the newly refurbished Post Office Cafe and Cabaret now one of the best venues in time. Queerguru caught up with her between shows to find out about her plans this summer
