Hôtel Gaytheringis proud to be the gayest boutique hotel in Miami Beach. Artist/owner Alex Guerra and his partner Stephan have combined their design aesthetic with a desire to create a contemporary queer space for more discerning gay travelers and locals alike.
There is such a sense of joie de vivre the moment you step through the door, so Queerguru sat down with Alex to talk about why the Gaythering is the place to be in SoBe.
P.S. This was filmed before COVID 19 BUT the Hotel itself is still open (with highly reduced rates) but the Bar and Sauna remain close in accordance with State/City requirements.

Gay8 Festival in Miami’s Little Havana Calle Ocho is the largest Hispanic/Latino/Latinx LGBTQ hosted festival in the nation and is probably the very best one too QUEERGURU was there yesterday for this 5th Annual Event …… and it seemed that the entire local LGBTQ Community was there too. The 23rd Edition of OUTshine Film Festival has its Opening Night Gala Screening of our fav. feel-good queer movie Stage Mother The Movie at a Drive In Theater and the rest of its 10 Day Festival wiil be VIRTUAL and available to stream online.

The 25th Anniversary Seattle Queer Film Festival is taking place October 15-25 run by the delightfully named Three Dollar Bill Cinema Its the largest festival of its kind in the Pacific Northwest and it will be completely VIRTUAL & ONLINE this year.
