London : Life Drawing with a Queer twist

The Glory is unquestionably one of East London’s hottest venues.  It is a queer and alternative pub that is known for its wild parties, creative clientele and vast eclectic programming of performance art and drag shows.

It also plays host to a whole series of life drawing classes run by wearestarkers.com who are model Roy Joseph Butler and painter Leo Crane. Having met through life drawing, they had a strong desire to create something fun and exuberant that celebrates the nude in all its diversity.

Their next event on November 14th is something of a furry treat in the shape of Bear Tiger who is on their most popular nude models. They even throw in the charcoal and paper, and frankly you don’t have to be much of an artist either, as long as you are having fun.

If however literature is more you thing then on Nov 25, – Nov 26, 2017. Starkers returns to the respectfully raucous club night for book worms. This time, Late Night Library Club brings 1980s London to life with all its hypocrisy, homosexuality, madness and privilege – great fodder for our life drawing tableaux. Dress-up is highly encouraged, so get suited and booted for the hottest (library) ticket in town.

But if you prefer to have the nude model come home with you ……to be drawn that is ….. then you can book a private event for you and your loved ones.  A professional Starkers Tutor and a fabulous Starkers Model will come to your home or venue with the necessary drawing materials. All participants get a Starkers sketch book and pencil as part of a themed Starkers goodie bag.   Its a mere £350 for up to 8 people +£15 per head thereafter.
